Message posted on 4/6/20: DeltaMath has been approved. I have taken down the information pertaining to Khan Academy and we will stick with the resource we have been using. Quill is still not allowed so I have set up accounts for students who will need to access No Red Ink for writing. I will send that info out in individual emails, later. For now, follow the log in information for my google classroom and NewsELA. Be on the lookout for the google meet log in information, in your email, at the end of this week. I will also be sending out the schedule and my office hours. See you soon!
Message posted on 3/31/20: I have to use 2 new online resources for writing and Math. We will be using No Red Ink for writing and Khan Academy for math. I have created those logins and will send them to you in your school email. Please still sign up for Newsela. Thank you.
Message posted on 3/30: I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. We are still using supplementary resources at this time. That means, you should be working on DeltaMath, Quill and logging into Newsela (see the log in tab for directions on how to join). Message posted on 3/23/20: WCPSS has sent out supplemental resources for core subject areas that you should be accessing at this time. These will not be taken for a grade but can help strengthen your skills. You can find these resources at: https://sites.google.com/wcpss.net/instructional-continuity-wcpss. I encourage you to also use DeltaMath, Quill and now Newsela to help support your goals in my class as well as support remediation in your core classes. You will find log in information for Newsela on the “Log in information tab” on my homepage of this website. Please use your WCPSS email when doing so. If anyone has forgotten their log in, please email me. Stay happy and healthy. Miss you all!
Message posted 3/20/20: At this time, I will not be sending out any work for students to do. As more details become available, I will send out additional information. As of right now, if you have missing assignments on DeltaMath or Quill, you can still access them and get credit for them since this is make up work. This is an OPTIONAL activity at this time. When we go back to school, time will be provided to also make up this work. I will also add a tab specifically for log in information for anything that I am able to provide to you. At this time, I encourage you to join my new REMIND group so that we can keep in touch. Please find the information on the tab titled ” Log-in information”. REMIND is an app that can be downloaded to your phone. Parents and students can use it. The app acts like a text message and phone numbers are not shared. Please feel free to email me if you like.
