On this page, I will keep a running post of any assignments, quizzes or tests that will be coming up.
CA Assignment for the week:
February 20-24: Make up work. There is an optional CA assignment. Students have expressed interest in learning about an African-American who has made an impact on the lives of Americans. You can do this assignment and have it count as a quiz grade. This must be presented in written or oral form on Friday the 24th! You must give enough information about the person and how they have impacted the lives of Americans in order to receive credit.
Monday, 2/20- Teacher Workday. No school
Tuesday, 2/21- Teacher Workday. No School
Wednesday, 2/22- SPAN- progress reports go out 2/28 from all teachers! Review week 1 vocabulary, make up work, independent work
Thursday, 2/23- Review Vocabulary from week 1, make up work, independent work
Friday, 2/24- Vocab. quiz, Optional CA assignment due, notebook organization.
February 13-17: Study Skills (choose 1)
- Create a foldable for study skills
- Find a newspaper article or magazine article and write a 2 paragraph summary or oral presentation relating to study skills
- Create an inspirational poster for the classroom about study skills
Monday, 2/13- Vocab. list 14, independent work, SPAN, make up quiz for those absent last Friday
Tuesday, 2/14- Vocabulary Stories, independent work
Wednesday, 2/15- Review Vocab., study skill puzzles and discussion, independent work

Friday, 2/17 (Early Release)- Vocab. Quiz 14, Notebook check, CA assignment due, independent work
February 6-10
- Find an inspirational quote that relates to your goal and write 2 paragraphs about how the quote and your goal relate to one another.
- Write a plan for accomplishing your goal that you listed on the goal setting worksheet
